Great tool for pain relief

I had an anterior hip replacement five weeks ago. I did too much for the first two weeks because I felt great. Had a sprained groin/groin and had to use a walker to relieve the pain. I got this bandage and it reduced the pain by 80%. The compression is great, it stays in place and is very comfortable to wear. You need to make sure you attach it to your thigh over both layers of the bandage to keep it from coming loose. If you do it right, it's perfect. I don't have to set it up all day. I takeโ€ฆ

Works well in medical care

My husband just had hip replacement surgery and it was actually 20 year old hip replacement surgery. This was a great help in the weeks leading up to the operation. This provided the necessary stability and significantly reduced pain. I know some reviews have mentioned that this can irritate the skin and I know from what we've been through that this is indeed the case. But usually it's because you leave it on for too long. You should give the pack at least a few hours a day to dry your bodyโ€ฆ

  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Functionality

Does not correspond to the stated size, the instructions are nonsense.

My top hips are 24 inches and my waist is 40 inches (I have severe scoliosis) Given these measurements, I should definitely consider all the criteria for a 40 inch waist with a hip less than 32 inches meet or waist 40-46 inches and hips 28 inches. If it were actually 73 inches as advertised it could perhaps extend the distance, but it's 71 inches. The instructions make absolutely no sense given the length and lack of elasticity of the material. It definitely doesn't fit true to size and doesn't

great for hip tendinitis

I received this for a very bad case of hip tendinitis. It's usually more common in athletes. I think that was part of age. I think I tore 2 muscles and tendons climbing stairs while hauling a heavy bag on wheels. Either way, it takes weeks or months to heal, and by then you won't even be able to lift your leg to climb a step. The tendons holding the muscles are torn from the bone. It's like a torn Achilles tendon. I knew this wrapper had to exist, so I searched the internet, saw what it lookedโ€ฆ

Helps a lot with hip pain!

I would give that a 4 1/2. I'm only taking off 1/2 star because it's a bit fiddly to use, especially at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's extremely helpful for hip pain! It really helps me to walk while I can hardly manage without it. I bought a few because after daily use for a few months or more it tends to stretch a little because it needs to be a little tight (you need to find the perfect snugness for you - it should be snug enough to it to provide support but not too tight toโ€ฆ

Just what I needed for medical supplies and gear

Injured right groin just over a week ago. Lots of bruising and swelling, as is common with this type of injury. I was looking at this product and another one on Revain (blue). However, Blue has a delivery schedule of almost 30 days. So it was Cramer E6. The material is neoprene (like the fabric of a wetsuit) so it stretches a bit. How to put it on: * Hold the non-velcro end and let it fall between your legs. * Place the pointy end about mid-thigh and wrap under and over your back. , tighten it.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
