I would give that a 4 1/2. I'm only taking off 1/2 star because it's a bit fiddly to use, especially at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's extremely helpful for hip pain! It really helps me to walk while I can hardly manage without it. I bought a few because after daily use for a few months or more it tends to stretch a little because it needs to be a little tight (you need to find the perfect snugness for you - it should be snug enough to it to provide support but not too tight to cut off your circulation (it should be comfortable enough to move around). But after a while it dragged on a bit and I found it wasn't giving me the support I needed. So if you're going to be using it every day for more than a few months, I'd suggest getting another one to have on hand.
