I am an avid runner and have always had issues with running shoes giving me shin splints for the first month but not these guys. I have a high arch and after doing some research (witch you should do that too) I realized that Asix and Brooks are primarily for people with flat feet. So we chose this Japanese company (shoes are made in Vietnam). Do you see the shape of the boot and the gap in the middle where your arch is? So you know which shoes you should buy. I'm still adjusting, but the first mile always feels springy. Ran 8.5 km on the Autobahn with no problems. Shoes feel light and high off the ground. Can't comment on the quality as I've only had it for a month at the time of writing this review and the quality of the material looks lousy. 5 stars for not having a split leg!
