great idea! One of my children is particularly clumsy and uses it daily. If not more than once a day. He can wrap it around his head, leg, arm or foot. It is soft on the inside and encourages a stubborn child to wear it long enough to cool the cow down. I highly recommend!

I bought this item a few days ago and can already see the benefits. Since ownership we have had a daughter with a bruise and a son with a high fever. We typically used regular hand-held ice packs and cold, wet clothing. This product solves the problem of having to keep an ice pack in place and also brings the pleasure of having to put on an ice pack. The only problem was that it was limited to 1 pack which needed 2 children. Must buy.

I loved this cool backpack when my kids hit their heads. It was great that it was a nice little cold spot so we didn't have to use a large cooler or a bag of frozen peas that were too cold for them. The patch has a nice fluffy soft material that makes contact with the skin which also helped and my kids finally wanted an ice pack for their bumps because of the cute puppy. My 4 year old loves it, every little thing is better with him. The downside is that sometimes the velcro gets stuck in her hair when it's up and we have to gently comb her hair and pull it out. She's had it for 7 months and I think it's leaking, not sure why or how it happened, it just stays in the freezer when not in use. It had a very slimy stain on it so I thawed it and washed it with dish soap, it dried and was fine so I put it back in the freezer and it got slimy again. So, after 7 months…
