Review on HOT TOOLS Professional Styling Curling by Kevin Samuels

At first glance, when I took it out of the box, I thought it was strange. The shaft of this curling iron is flat-oval and not round-cylindrical as usual. I plugged it in, tried it and fell in love with the curls I got! They look like gathered curls, unique and fun! The second thing I noticed is that it's very lightweight and easy to move around and style. I also like that the cord on the underside can be turned completely (which is particularly important with curlers), which makes styling even easier. I like that there are no buttons. To turn on/off turn the switch on the side and the temperature with the knob. I have curling irons that have buttons for everything and it's so annoying because I'm holding it and styling part of my hair and all the time I accidentally press the button. All the better, there were no such problems. I love that the indicator light lets you know when it's at the temperature you set it to and that there's a good range of temperature options. It's nice to have a wand that has a part to put it on so the wand doesn't touch the counter. You would think they would all come up with this but this is the first curler I have. Overall very good, I think the price is a bit high for what you get, but it's a really good tool if you want to try something different and fun!
