
I used these to fit an old Dell Inspiron 580 into a new case. (Fractal Design Focus G.) The old Inspiron motherboard only had two fan headers. One for the CPU and one for the rear 92mm case fan. I added these for use on front 120mm fans. Works great with a SATA power supply. Of course you don't get a speed-controlled fan connection, everything is running at full speed. This wasn't a problem for me as most 120mm fans run at around 1200 RPM. Not very loud. A simple solution to a common problem. If you are an old system builder like me? give him a chance
