The most useful feature of GEDIT for me has been its ability to edit files in different formats like RTF or HTML without having any problems with formatting when I have used it as an FTP client (like Filezilla).

It can be slow at times but not enough so where you would complain about this product being discontinued by their developers! However there are some other features which may interest users who use software such as Notepad++ - these include code completion using CTRL + spacebar etc., integrated terminal window into your program's GUI allowing easy access from anywhere within windows explorer; also allows one-click editing via context menus instead of requiring separate shortcuts key combinations assigned per each operation type e..g cut paste move rename delete save open close load unload all operations performed simultaneously through single button press!
