Review on π Dorman 924-253 Battery Vent Tube: Optimal Battery Ventilation Solution by Greg Baker
May not quite fit batteries and accessories
As the name suggests, this Dorman product isn't exactly a match for which there are claims. The old breather tube in my Chevy Cobalt cracked so I ordered this Dorman product as it's cheap and generally decent quality. As you can see in the photo, the ACDelco tube is on the left and the Dorman tube is on the right. It didn't work right out of the box. I used a hair dryer to heat the new piece and bend it like the old one. After that, it fits and functions like a factory pipe.
