I have this to organize small items on my desk. It was quite frustrating to see the word "HOME" printed on both sides until I figured out how to remove it. I tried to scratch like someone said in the reviews but it was tedious and took forever. Here's what worked: rub nail polish remover onto a cotton pad - words wiped away in less than 30 seconds! Initially, the ghost of the letters remains, but it is enough to soak a clean cotton pad and wipe again. It really was TOO EASY.
