I bought this set because I wanted a more unique piece of play equipment that could be attached to either armrest of my chair. At the time I didn't have anything and I needed something and my setup is limited because I don't have much money so I bought this set. And frankly, if you're in that situation, it's not a bad way to go. I've since upgraded my mouse to a Zelotes C-12 because I needed more right-handed functionality than essentially point-click-point-click. but this mouse is not bad. It doesn't have a fire button, but it does have switchable DPI. My biggest gripe is that it's just clumsy. For now, I plan to use it as a backup mouse, just in case. The keyboard is pretty good, but there are better ones out there. And again very clumsy when you press the buttons. It's not a deal breaker, you can still work with macros, but it's a bit fiddly when you first use it. My favorite part of this keyboard is the "M" key in the bottom left corner. A very intuitive place to switch the minimap. I ended up getting another one because it just doesn't have enough hotkeys for some of the games I play a lot. This keyboard is great for Broodwar and SC2, but a little more difficult for Age of Empires, Planetside 2 and Star Wars: The Old Republic; Unfortunately, I need a few more keys for the last few games. I also plan to use it as a backup. PROS: Great for a first or backup set. Great if you're on a budget. Suitable for some RTS, RPG and FPS games: Broodwar & Starcraft 2, Diablo 3 and Path of Exile CS: GO. Games that make good use of your home grid Q->T, A->G, Z->BF1->F5, 1->5; Could be better but could be worse, very safe and right in the middle of the road Great position for the M button to toggle the mini-map Ergonomic; feels great to play it for hours. Each of these keys is important in real-time strategy, so the more the merrier. It doesn't seem like the best choice for an MMORPG
