Blue low light

We use "Christmas lights" on our porch so we can see our dogs when they go out before bed. It also adds a nice, welcoming vibe to the porch and house. When our standard (non-LED) bulbs died it wasn't the holiday season so there were no local replacements. I figured that buying LED lights would mean an improvement in performance and durability, so I went with them. They weren't "bad" lights, but they weren't very bright. They gave our porch an almost dim glow rather than the cheerful brightness of standard mini bulbs. You should know that "Cool White" = "Blue". almost the same hue as the lightbulb in an old-school refrigerator. Or, as my kids used to say, a scary blue glow outside a hospital/basement/abandoned building in a horror movie. Machete attracts more to my house.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
