I've been using regular nail polish for decades. My nails have never been bare in all the years since I started using nail polish, but have only recently switched to gel. I love how the gel polish lasts until you take it off and it's so shiny. I was not at all disappointed with this Art Deco set from Modelones. I have a few initial comments: The polish is nice and creamy. When I opened the bottles, there was no unpleasant odor. I'm so glad I chose this color. After doing a lot of research and trusting this brand, I settled on Art Deco paints for their versatility and practicality. I've always loved beige glitter and burgundy so this set was perfect. I used the Modelones base coat and top coat that I had on hand from another purchase. I also used the Modelones Prep Kit. The result was so beautiful! I decided to try them all on to see the colors and I really like it. I love the color and I could have stopped with one coat but I went for two coats. The color lasted a week on my nails without chipping. (Well, except for the one time I scratched it with a knife and it was my fault.) I'm pretty rough with my nails, too. Typing, washing dishes, cleaning, etc. I used to get my nails done all the time, but now I only do my nails after I find products that work. You need your own UV/LED nail lamp for curing. It also comes in a cute box. Worth my time and great buy.
