Update 4/23/2022: Got a second one and it's worse than the first. It doesn't appear to be dead pixels, but damage to the underlying reflective layer. There's a 1/4 inch wide diagonal gray bar that initially looked like dead pixels, but if you look at it from an angle (e.g. while running something like Undead Pixel) you'll see that the pixels are blinking normally , but the level below is scratched or something. Extremely disappointed. I am sending this back. I love MSI stuff and they've always been high quality. Very disappointed with this model. I will try another brand. :-(--------- ----------------Original review: I had high hopes for this monitor. I'm an MSI fan. My 3070 is MSI I've had MSI laptops and other devices for years and the quality is always excellent VR headset. :) Doesn't lag and works flawlessly. Problem on first boot, right out of the box, lots of broken pixels in different parts of the screen. They're not or "stuck," they're dead. Black holes. You are right in the middle of the screen. This is simply unacceptable for a monitor that costs several hundred euros more than comparable competitors. I haven't read any reviews of others having this issue with this model but I know it's fairly new. Revane sent me another one, let's see how it goes. If it also has dead pixels I'll go back to Samsung or ASUS. And before anyone says all monitors have dead pixels, I have four Samsungs (two of them over 4k), an LG from last year and a couple of Dells that my kids use, old ones. NOT A SINGLE DEAD PIXEL on any of them to date. As a developer it is difficult to have them as they are very distracting when looking at the screen design and cannot tell if there is something wrong or if it is a dead pixel. I'm (again) optimistic about a replacement because it's a good size, flex and looks. I just hope I can get it with no dead pixels. I will post an update when there is a new one.
