Smooth and not too wide teeth
My natural hair is quite thin but very coarse and tightly curled. The Betool comb is strong enough to go through my coils, dry or wet. It does have quite a few kinks though, so I expect it will eventually snap in half like every other plastic comb I've tried. At the same time, since the teeth are not too wide, it detangles my hair very well and not just detangles it.
- LESS SCRAP: Comb the tip first, then work your way up. This avoids knitting at the ends of the hair, which can lead to hair breakage.
