There were problems with venting after installation. Check the nut holding the lever. It is lost and can only be tightened so far because the other end of the bolt is recessed. I used a green lock tight. hope it lasts I would try running the system with a newer polar athlete if I did it again. Installed on a 1997 Polaris Sportsman 500. Update Do not buy. One minute the brakes work, the next they don't. I can't seal it at the top so there are no leaks and the piston sometimes gets stuck. It's nowhere near good enough to consider buying again.
