Wrapped in a warm blanket in the on position. Suddenly, the switch component that was touching my leg got so hot I thought I was going to burn myself. I couldn't hold it because of the heat and couldn't push the power button to the off position. The button was in the pressed position and stuck - on "ON". I couldn't let it go and had to drop the block to avoid burning myself - it was getting hotter and hotter. It was tucked behind the couch and wasn't easy to reach or quickly disconnect. I was very afraid that an electric fire could break out at any moment! I just bought it in October - 2 months ago. I will try to contact the seller and hope for a replacement or refund. I really liked this blanket and I would never have given this review and negative review if it hadn't happened. It was great to use on cold evenings while sewing and crocheting. I will update this review with the results after contacting the seller or manufacturer of these swaddle blankets.
