Benefits:* Accurate description so fits perfectly with blender model (although not sure if it doesn't fit other models of the same brand) * Eliminates loud blending noise with an old blade. which oozed a black sticky substance and emitted an unpleasant burning smell that no longer mixes*, extended the life of the blender. I used to think the motor was bent, so we threw it away and bought a new one ($99 for a full set). . As long as it doesn't get ripped by the blade, but I'm afraid this will happen at any moment since I use a blender every day.
