Review on ElecGear Automatic Temperature Controlled Playstation PlayStation 4 by Tina Cruz

So. I play video games for hours and after getting my PS4 Pro I obviously realized how hot it gets. Playing God of War or anything else darn close to the 4k threshold will burn it up. I was looking around and found this for my white PS4 Pro Glacier and wow! It keeps it much cooler than before and contributes to better airflow. What I liked: The color match is almost perfect. Matches the console in looks and silhouette and looks cool as a shii. Now, what I didn't like: I read other reviews complaining that it was very loud, almost like a "pop" or "vibration". Now to be clear. It was quiet at first, and then as the game heated up the system, the fans got louder and louder. At first I thought the block itself was vibrating against the PS4 and decided to add something to fill in the gaps. After playing around with it, I noticed that it stopped after I firmly pressed one of the fans. For me it meant the fans were free inside, no big deal. I unscrewed the cooling block with a regular screwdriver and set it up. NONE of the fans were screwed on at all. Very unexpected. This was not a problem for the two big fans as they are very tight in their seats and have no room to maneuver. Three small ones that I fixed with screws when disassembling. Gathered back, connected and turned on the PS4. like new! It's very, very quiet now. In fact, it's quieter than a PS4 fan. Lol Now I don't know if I ever got it but it really was such a simple fix that took me about 2-3 minutes. YES, I agree that the manufacturer should have provided better quality, but still they would have done the job louder than they should have. Is it worth buying? YES SIR. The color matched almost perfectly and I played for hours today and the PS4 was EXCEPTIONALLY cool. Order it as a real investment in your PS4! If it can be like that, then perfect! If not, spend 2-3 minutes with simple settings like I described and you'll love it. You will not regret it. Hope that helps! (:
