UEFI (GPT) and MBR work great! Amazing Little Device

I was skeptical that this device could emulate MBR/GPT properly and decided to give it a try . I had no idea I was in for a surprise. Yes, the internal drive you plug into the device must be formatted as MBR, and it's completely independent of how it mounts ISOs and VHDs. It's absolutely transparent. You can divide the VHD into sections as you like. MBR and GPT. Once connected, it behaves like a virtual disk format! That's great! When you have all those "Oh shit, it won't load!" dozens of times in your head and that's it, it's a wonderful feeling. It also EFI boots from your optical disc images. So Hiren's Boot CD x64 Win10 will boot on both older boards and the newest ones. This still doesn't mean you can boot Windows 95 from a 3TB GPT virtual disk. EFI (GPT)/MBR is completely transparent to the device if you have a virtual disk attached. I hope this answers any questions about this. If you use Virtualbox like I do, it has a media manager dialog that allows you to create VHDs (and VDIs, the native format for VBox). Well, that's a treat too. I personally use the VHD format. You can create virtual media, but you must place it in the _ISO folder at the root of your drive. Make sure it isn't created as "Dynamic" as that won't work. You must create it as a fixed-size disk. After that, you can delete the attachment and VBox won't bother you anymore. Just make sure to save linked files when prompted! This will allow you to boot Windows/Linux/MacOS** since technically you can install MacOS on a previously created virtual disk. It also claims that you can mount your ISO and virtual disk at the same time. Please DO NOT do this with a rotating mechanical drive. It will be painfully slow. You need an SSD for stuff like that. (i.e. you mount your windows10.iso and mount it on windows10.vhd - this will limit your hard drive and sometimes USB bandwidth.) If you run it in "dual mode" you can use a connected virtual hard drive (optical or HDD ) have ) as well as access to the internal drive at the same time. It's damn cute. Now I haven't tested deleting or changing the provided image as I'm sure it will explode in your face. Do not do that! In short, this is an amazing device. I'm in the process of migrating all my old USB drives to IMA so I can keep them with me and pick them up when needed. A++++++++++
