I also thought it would be a little thicker.
I also thought it was a bit thicker than a plastic tablecloth but it was so flimsy and cheap I didn't use it for my party. It would likely slide off the table if there was even a slight breeze. I bought blue and white. Maybe the black and white ones are better - they look better in all the photos posted by other reviewers.
