Review on Pelican 1450 Case With Foam (Silver) by Doug Friedman

Like A Rock in Bags & Cases

I have many Pelican cases for a variety of uses. Buying 1450s (I bought two of them) further confirms the outstanding quality of the Pelican. Model 1450 built like a tank. It's tougher than most imaginable uses require—which is why Pelican fans keep buying it—seals tight and stays tight, is built to withstand HEAVY handling while protecting its contents, and even has a comfortable grip. All for a reasonable price. Now how do you argue with that? Incidentally, "STRONG" insult does not mean rejection of the matter. That means surviving a 10 storey fall, a highway fall, including car collisions, bear attacks, etc. Yes, the latches are a bit tight. I like them that way - it's part of the protection. Although I have bought a pelican or two larger or smaller for my purpose, I have never returned them. There was a use for each and I happily bought one the right size later. I've bought very, very few products that I can say *that* about!
