**DO NOT BUY YOU WILL VIEW THEM IF YOU DON'T LEAVE A 5 STAR REVIEW**

AVOID THIS LIFT SELLER! I bought this a few months ago and left a reasonable review with a spring issue and they pestered me for months to remove it from multiple emails. So you can trust all reviews of their products because they will probably just bother anyone with a valid tap (I left a 3 star review and saved the product for goodness sake) until they remove it and only leave 5 star reviews . I keep blocking the email address and spam message, but they just associate a new email address with a fictitious name with a generic email form in broken English, so it's probably just a click of sorts -Farm like the company they are paying to fake their reviews. I've tried to notify Revain but they won't do anything about it. **ORIGINAL REVIEW YOU THOUGHT ME MONTHS BELOW** I'll probably have to return it due to this spring. The light itself is great. The case is metal, everything is durable. It's a nice soft light that gets really bright or can be dimmed enough so that someone can sleep nearby and not be disturbed. It runs via the included USB cable which is very easy to connect to my monitor. To be honest I would have liked it too if it wasn't for the spring on the mount. I have monitors, one of which is a newer IPS monitor, relatively thin, and the thing sits perfectly on it. But the spring is so strong that it eventually compresses the top of the monitor, and it doesn't have a large bezel, so the pressure on the screen starts spreading the light. There's a kind of framework that this thing can capture. Well no, it has a slight taper. A spring that is too strong will push the bracket out of the monitor over time. It only presses so hard that it slowly slides up. And how the spring is adjusted affects its adjustment, so it starts to sag. I'll try using mounting tape to see if it can counteract the spring, but if not I'll have to jump for the more expensive BenQ. for a mount that uses a counterweight instead of an automotive-grade spring. Seriously folks, use half as much feather and you'll be fine.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • I really don't like it everything is fine
