These are the weirdest lights I've ever seen. The lamp inside has stationary LEDs. But then the prismatic dome roared from its inner engine. I put them around our gazebo for Christmas. They say they can be used outdoors as well, apparently not in Minnesota. Lanterns have all of these vents to dissipate heat, but they also allow water and snow to seep into the bare chains. Ridiculously designed lightbulb. Do not buy! Find the best closed solution.
