I really like this protein. I mix it with cold water from a jug of Britta in the fridge, but it still tastes good once it's room temperature. The texture is fluid, the right consistency, with no graininess. I use a blender bottle to mix without waiting for it to dissolve. You can drink immediately. just stir with a spoon - it will take a few minutes for all the powder to dissolve. Taste: Not super sweet - as a southerner I prefer a syrupy texture to my sweet tea. it's like a "regular" sweet tea with a hint of lemon. Delicious. Smell: I have a very sensitive nose. my roommates think I'm crazy - they don't smell like anything. I drink with the cap on and claim to smell the powder even after mixing it. The problem was solved for me with a lid. Friends around me are laughing, they think I'm crazy and I don't feel anything. I am preparing for VSG - will be using these products for a while. Will be repurchasing this and trying some of their other flavor options as well. I travel extensively and expect to do so post-op on a clear or fully liquid diet. I needed a powdered, clear liquid to get through the TSA, but I couldn't eat airline food. I'm supplied with that and a few packets of broth. Note: This liquid is not completely transparent - it is translucent. This is what I teach patients to tell when a quality liquid is clear. It's more of a slightly cloudy liquid. Nurses are like the worst of patients - and that's clear enough to call me a clear liquid!
