Purchased this shower head after being diagnosed with NTM Lung Disease. I was amazed at how much water accumulated in my old shower head when I took it off. I love that there is no water and bacteria reservoir in this shower head. I will say if you have a weak hand it can be a little difficult to open and close. There is a latch and it takes some force to open and close. I'm 73 years old and I've found that using the thumbs of both hands is pretty easy. The shower head is heavy and well made. Aside from the therapeutic aspects, I love the gentle stream of water it creates.
