Almost too rough and needs a protective cover

Very effective, fast filing and easy to clean. You won't see it lose its texture anytime soon. I'll say it's rough and average. To "finish" after the file I use the okeefe foot cream. If I were to buy this again I would look for medium and fine, coarse is too much for my feet. Also, I'm so afraid it will ruin other things in my bathroom drawer so I kept the plastic wrap as a sheath, it would be nice to have a more official case that would last a long time.
