I have a problem with dogs chewing. I know the chewing problem is related to the dog, not the bed specifically. This is a large white German Shepherd who is too smart for his own good and gets bored at times. I read the reviews but bought it anyway. The bed went up very easily and initially it seemed very comfortable. The bad news was that within 24 hours the shepherd had literally turned this bed into a pile of rubble! There was no salvation for him at all. I can't fault the bed as it doesn't claim to be chew resistant like Kuranda's elevated aluminum dog bed. Size: X-Large (27" x 44") Fabric: 40 oz. Vinyl is royal blue, which by the way I bought elsewhere and is holding up really well. So if your dog tends to chew, be careful with these beds.
