I liked its size and the fact that it has a backlit switch. While the outlets are close together, in my case I only had to deal with an oversized transformer/plug to plug into the end outlet. This still allows full access to USB connections. The mounting clip is heavy metal, not plastic, and holds the device securely. Lip, since there are only four exits (which seems like a lot to me), the strip is a bit more compact than some similar ones. I wanted white and was happy to find it in stock. I have a black one in my office but wanted to clip it to the side of my living room table so my elderly mother doesn't have to bend down to plug in the electrical devices she uses. It works great for my needs.
