It's pretty nifty for its features. VGA, DVI and HDMI. I accidentally bought this product. somehow not paying attention. I have the latest MacBook Pro with a USB-C port, so that's the wrong port, but instead of paying for return shipping I gave it to a colleague who has an older Mac. VGA and HDMI work great. Cannot communicate with DVI. he hasn't come across it yet and I'm not surprised. But if you need the dongle in your pocket and your Mac has a Mini DisplayPort or Thunderbolt connector, you're guaranteed to be able to connect a projector to any boardroom, new or old.
