This thermometer is really the best choice for everyday home use and the price is exceptional. It is simple in design, user-friendly and accurate. The probe is extremely convenient and easy to clean. The price is phenomenal and much more affordable than something similar. The only gripe I have (and it's minor) is that the battery cover could have been a bit more secure. I haven't had any issues with it, but it looks like it could detach unintentionally if dropped or taken out of its storage box/bag. The main pluses (besides quality, functionality and affordability) are that Greater Goods has a phenomenal philosophy and product support and the packaging is 100% recycled paper/cardboard with no frills or unnecessary advertising. A rare plus in today's market
