These are GREAT for wide, stocky legs. I ordered 12, my LO wears Saucony 12XW or 12 in most Carters shoes and most See Kai Run. Her legs don't match brands like Skechers or even Stride Rite Wide. Finding shoes that fit her is hard to come by, and since they were reminiscent of the See Kai Run Mary Janes, I gave it a go. They are prettier in person and they fit beautifully! The only thing I don't like is the sole, it's fluffy and I don't know how safe it will be in school and I don't know if it will survive well being abused by a violent 6 year old . I will give an update in a few weeks. In general, they fit perfectly and are beautiful. EDIT: I have to say they don't last that long. as someone else said, the velcro falls apart quickly and they just can't stand up to mishandling. I have so little choice of shoes that I will stick with them and replace them when needed, but be aware that they quickly become ugly if you plan on using them for everyday use.
