My official Microsoft charger broke due to careless handling. Before I got this charger, I bought a standard replacement charger from a local retailer because I needed my Surface to work and Microsoft doesn't sell an official charger in the south. Africa where I live. I noticed that the regular replacement charger was causing phantom touches on my phone (when plugged into a USB port) and severely interfering with my ability to use the touchscreen and touchpad on my case. I've noticed that this EMI is common with some chargers and you'll find people mentioning it in some of the reviews here on Revain. However, after purchasing THIS charger, the problem completely disappeared. The touchpad and touchscreen work great. Even my type case feels cooler. So I'm very happy.
