Review on 🔩 Tough-Ball Mount RAP-B-379U-252025: Enhanced with 1/4"-20 x .25" Threaded Stud and B Size 1" Ball by RAM Mounts by Ryan Fuhrer

Overall I'm very happy with the RAM products but this one is an exception. The plastic hex flange breaks too easily and doesn't live up to RAM's reputation in my opinion. I'm glad the threads are actually rust free, but don't worry if the flange breaks because the entire ball head is now unusable. I didn't over tighten or overload the ball. I installed a bluetooth speaker on my bike roughly in the center of the speaker (i.e. that ball wasn't loaded with as much torque). The flange broke after about a year while my other RAM products still work in the same environment. I will be contacting RAM to see if they do a warranty exchange. In the future I will try to find an aluminum ball flange from RAM instead of this plastic flange.
