I thought I needed a basic hole punch instead of a die so I could punch out some cute little butterflies quickly and easily. They are very beautiful, 1.25 inches wide and 1 inch long. You will receive 3 different butterfly designs. You set the slide button to the one you want to cut out and then punch it out. It's a powerful punch, quite heavy but not difficult to use. In hindsight I probably would have used a die instead of this die simply because I could use smaller scraps of paper and position the die exactly where I wanted it on the design. With this hole punch, it's a little hard to see where it's going to line up on the paper, and you'll end up with a little more scrap around the cutout than with a punch. But overall it's a good die and if you don't have a die this would be a great way to carve some pretty little butterflies.
