This is one of the best purchases (with or without the Revain) I've made in a while, especially for the price. I handwrite and illustrate quite a bit and this has eliminated most of the excruciating pain of bending over my work. I also carry it around the house and use it on my desk or desk when I want to keep a work or letter (or my laptop) close to my eyes. I think this would be a great way to ditch the iPad. Although I think for this use it would be better if the fold-out ledge it rests on was bigger. This would help me when using large sketchbooks/drawing pads/magazines/books. I bought this table on purpose because it was one of the rarer models where you can raise the worktop. Once it's set to that height, the legs supporting it are nice and strong (I can lean on them with my elbows). Surprisingly, the fairly thin plastic of the work surface does not yield anywhere when writing and feels very solid. It would be nice if the adjustable legs snapped into place so it doesn't fall out when lifted or flipped on its side, but that's no big deal. The pillows on the bottom are really comfy, nice and big to give extra height. Presumably they are spaced apart rather than forming one large cushion so it's ventilated in the lap and not frying. It's thin enough to store under a sofa or coffee table. For what I paid I feel crazy for not getting it sooner. And that's especially valuable because it's been so useful and how much help and relief it brings.
