I bought these shoes knowing they wouldn't fit my son right away and they didn't fit so the sizing seemed accurate. I ordered a blue dinosaur style that I like the color of. The mesh inside is soft to the touch so hopefully there won't be any rash or irritation. We're at the point now where my son can wear them while we tie the laces, which gets the job done. I love that the lace is on the outside because it's a lot easier to tie than the inside because my son has trouble sitting still! He's worn them to the pool and water parks, they've been washed a few times and I haven't seen them fade or the stitching unravel.
