These bags failed the silicone compression test. When I stretched the parts of each pouch, the stretched area turned white, indicating fillers were used and not pure silicone. I've ordered silicone pouches from several different sellers this week and they were all made in China and none of them passed the purity test. I am returning them all to look for European or American brands that are pure platinum silicone rather than a cheaper and less safe product. I suggest that we all make sure that silicone products pass the compression/pull test and don't be fooled by the FDA approved rating or list of what's not in the product (BPA free etc.) because they give you... not saying the product can meet FDA standards but not the highest standards for silicone which must be pure platinum silicone with no fillers. I propose to stop buying silicone in China and indeed I've noticed other products from China that seem to have clever advertising: not entirely false but really missing important information or highlighting a truth that diverts attention from what what else consumers should be asking. . Don't buy silicone from China, buy European quality silicone: LFGB pure platinum silicone.
