I have pretty thick hair. A bit straight, a few isolated waves here and there. I bought these because regular hair ties tend to break more often. Several friends have used and recommended them. It quickly became apparent that my hair was so thick that the bands couldn't hold it properly. The 2 loops around the tail were too loose. If I made 3 loops it would snag and random patches would stick out on the scalp. Even if I did 2 loops, there would still be kinks in my hair after taking it off. Out of the 3 I received, one already broke and I had to throw it away. I'm disappointed they didn't work for me.
