Remember when you were a little kid and you got new shoes and you could run faster and jump higher. I don't want to get too meladramatic, but these shoes get me ready to stand on tiptoe to heal like Native Americans did. I actually bought them after moving to the Colorado Rockies. I started hiking in "hiking shoes". But I was like an urban cloak racing through the woods. I wanted to be more mysterious, more in tune with nature. So I got myself a pair of water socks. The audio dropped about 70% (I was on to something). But when walking on boulders they sometimes rolled my leg sideways - not good! So I switched to these. Oh boy what's the difference. They literally fit my feet like gloves - leg gloves. They feel REALLY good and massage each of my toes. These are my Cadillac campers now. But (and there's always a but in this story) you're not easy to put on. It takes some time to put each of your little piggies in their right place. The design of this product is NEARLY complete. It should have a drawstring or elastic at the top with a few inches of Lycra padding to keep out dirt, sand, and tree branches. Because as soon as they come in, you have to take these things off, which isn't difficult, and then put them back on.
