Contrary to what some say, this IS Bomberman is as you remember it.
According to the person who bought this game for the full price of $50, I have no regrets. The multiplayer in this game is a blast, offering support for up to 8 players, which is one of the most chaotic entertainments you can get if you have enough controllers and friends to play with. There's not much reason to play this game alone, other than to unlock customization items, characters, and stages for use in multiplayer, or if you're playing an online game that's pretty shaky in terms of performance even now. Considering that this game has received new free content in updates, this game could easily be worth $50 in its day IF new content continues to be added in future updates. Is this game worth $50? Absolutely not. But is it still worth taking? Of course, local multiplayer alone makes this game worth playing.
