Bought these for my 3 year old to do housework like wiping the table so his hands don't get any cleaner. They fit him a little better, but that means there's room to grow (the extra room was maybe about 1/2 inch) and they're not so big that he can't hold them or manipulate things (e.g. jets trigger). Part of the wrist holds up well but has a slight stretch so it doesn't cause any discomfort. I haven't washed them yet but the packaging says they are machine washable. If anything goes wrong I will update this review. My 3 year old is small for his age with very small hands, I believe they will fit the average 3 year old and up. I bet for those over 6 years old they will seem too small. I have a 5 year old (also small for his age) who could wear them if he wanted to (I bought him another pair and brand). I bet a 2 year old and younger will have very flexible fingers so I wouldn't call them toddler size. More like a small child.
