WOW WOW WOW! 2 days and already.

My very ill 18 year old cat looked like it was late last week. His food didn't exist. Cat yells at a water bowl, no energy, sad eyes. I resigned myself to losing him, but I found it hard to watch him wither. My cat has an overactive thyroid, but the medication prescribed by the vet caused him to foam at the mouth and have a seizure. We waited and tried a smaller dose. The same reaction. It was 3 years ago and my vet was telling me about surgeries etc for a 15 year old cat? I decided to give him all my love and just let nature take its course. But it's always hard for me to see him languish. And last week he looked so ill, so lethargic, I couldn't shake the feeling that somehow I was letting him down. I know he has had a good life, better than many other cats but I thought maybe there is food or something else I could try. He ate just a few sips of Fortiflora-covered food, and it was his salvation—like crack. I googled feline thyroid and clicked the first link in total desperation. I came across this Gold Thyroid Support, read a lot of reviews and thought I'd give it a try as a last resort. So it took 2 days and the result was INSTANT. My cat, who hardly eats anything, showed great interest in the food. He ate a WHOLE CAN yesterday! I can't believe I'm so happy to see a cat eat. but this is my baby :) I'll get back to you but today is day 3. He's still eating, his eyes look "alive" and seems a lot better. Again, this may be an accident, but send us kind thoughts. I love this guy and after losing his brother last month I wasn't ready to lose them both. When you have a pet that long, it really becomes part of your world. I know this can't go on forever, but if he has just one more year my gratitude will be beyond words. If your cat is at the end of it I would recommend trying it out. I have nothing to do with this company. I've never heard of that. Stay tuned for my update (I'll edit this post). I will also try to post a photo of my very dear little man in the near future. :)
