Review on Hygger Horizon 8 Gallon LED Glass Aquarium Kit: Complete Starter Set with Power Filter Pump, Colored LED Light, and 3D Rockery Background Decor by Sally Wiesner

I bought this tank to replace a 5 gallon tank and make a new version for plants. Overall this is a great aquarium, extremely easy to set up, phenomenal lighting (super bright!) I have lots of healthy plants. The background adds a lot of depth that is lacking in a standard aquarium. The rocky part is wide enough to accommodate shrimp and fish to rest and be comfortable without stretching too far. It only goes half way down which may bother some people but for me it's great! This gives me more space to place more fish and also gives me a great place to place skins/decor for my shrimp and fish. In general, it's worth the money! You get a premium tank at a great price. I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a planted nano/smaller aquarium. Very cool! Also people seem confused about the filter and replacing foam and carbon, all you need is to buy a filter pad (cut to shape with scissors) and activated carbon (petco/pet smart have these and of course they do too on-line). The filter comes apart easily and you just put in a spare gasket and charcoal pellets, it's really easy. All this is described in the instructions.
