I had a small project to make a replica of a medieval dagger. I decided I needed a brass wire grip on the handle and chose brass 230 14AWG. It worked so well that I had to show people the raw materials I used to make the dagger before they believed it wasn't a store-bought piece. This wire certainly adds to the quality. It has a very nice shine and a very appealing color. It also adds a bit more weight to the handle than a wooden or leather handle.
