A clever way to make filter media changes in canister filtration systems a much cleaner process. I have a 75 gallon goldfish tank; My fish are dirty by nature and even with a great biofilter, the water needs to be polished with activated charcoal and zeolite to get the level of ammonia they produce. The mesh is large enough to prevent coal granules or chips from seeping through, but not so fine that dust and particles remain inside. To destroy the filtration system, I can remove the bags, empty the contents, and refill them much faster than digging through old things looking for bioceramic structures. Makes my aquarium cleaning days so much easier.
