Review on 🌞 Defurhome Dimmable Daylight Protection: Your Equivalent Sunlight Solution by Jamie Behm

Revainrating 1 out of 5

One had problems, one broke.

Edited to add: The seller was quick to respond to my message and offered a refund or replacement. I have opted for a refund as I don't think these headlights (or any other set) will last the distance. The other seller hasn't responded yet so thanks to those guys. So I bought them and received them on time. . . I didn't look at them very closely; I just took three and put them on the lamp I just bought. Everything was fine for ten days, then one of the lights started flickering. In fact, it alternates between the two included threads (there are four of them). That means two filaments turn on, then turn off and the other two turn on, etc. No problem; something happens. But when I went to get a replacement, I noticed that one of the two remaining lightbulbs was broken. . . not the bulb, but the stem that supports the filaments in the outer bulb. The outer shell was ok (see photo). Let's see. . . 40% failure/damage. Yes, not very well. Now I have to decide if it's worth replacing the time or just eating the cost: 40% of about $15 = $6. . . If it takes me longer than ten minutes, I'll cover the cost (including the aggravating factor). NOTE: The photo shows a three-light fixture with one of the lights dimming. Still usable, but noticeably dimmer (at least not flickering). That's three out of five that don't work well. My guess is the lamp will eventually fail too, which is a 60% failure rate. I encountered a dimming issue with another light fixture that used bulbs from a different vendor (but the bulbs are of a similar design). This is the five bulb light shown (you can see that two of the bulbs are dimmer than the others). Maybe that's just the nature of these types of lamps; This means they are a crappy design with low quality and durability. Just to be clear, these bulbs were all the same brightness when they were first installed. Reality check: As I said, anything can happen. Maybe I was just unlucky (although there are now a total of 5 out of 10 bulbs from 2 different sellers) but I'm posting it here in case others have the same issue and we make a sample.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
