I've used a small number of cordless drills in the past and often ran out of energy to fully seat screws or drill holes to a certain depth. The drill has not had this problem yet. I just drilled holes in the drywall and wood studs to mount the TV, tin mill and curtains. At first the drill had trouble getting into the first bolt halfway through, but after increasing the torque I was pleasantly surprised that not only did it drill all the holes very easily, it also drove all the screws in with no problems. I've never had any battery life issues, but as long as you keep the backup battery charged I believe you'll be able to get the job done and the drill won't fail. The bits fit well and don't snap. As for the included drill bits, I have yet to confirm their quality as I needed different sizes for my project. The standard drill bits are probably acceptable to start with, but I would still recommend getting another set of higher quality and sized drill bits. If you want to order single drill bits, make sure the set fits Max Chuck Lock and everything will be fine. I don't have any projects yet to test concrete or metal drilling skills, but as long as you use the right torque, speed, and drill bit, I don't imagine you'll run into too many problems. I have ordered many different bits that I use to clean tile grout, my grill, car upholstery and a ton of other things. one that will do most jobs, but I prefer to have the right specialty tool for every job.
