All in all if you are looking for a good work light with lots of options you can't go wrong with this one. You get two flashlights well packaged in a carrying case that is easy to move from one place to another and is not overly heavy like some flashlights. Everything folds up nicely and each component has its own crumpled velvet pouch to put them in to avoid scratches or dents when moving them from one place to another. The outer part of the body is made of dense nylon, and inside all parts are equipped with a decent seal. The bags have a drawstring so the pieces don't slip out if taken from the wrong side. The lights themselves are bold and appear to be well made. They have many different adjustment points so they can be easily tilted up or down and the blinds will stay in place once adjusted to the desired angle. The LED matrix is well spaced and gets BRIGHT. The color options are very bright and vibrant and work well in a variety of spaces. Dimming and color temperature options are also plentiful, adding to the many different scenes you can set. Tripods have some problems. They feel solid for the most part, but the base and legs wobble a bit even when tightened. If a decent amount of pressure is applied (which doesn't usually happen, which is why I say it's a minor problem) the legs can be spread. Another problem is that the legs don't have a rubber tip. On the one hand, this makes it easier to move quickly or slide across the floor. On the other hand, it does not contribute to stability. If you give it a little push, it moves. It can also be quite tough as the lights are much heavier than a tripod. He stayed in my place until I pushed him, put him in his place and left him. However, tripods can extend quite far. If you need lighting from a higher angle, these things can get really high. You just have to make sure you use the app, slave/master mode or the stairs to then get to the back of the light. One benefit is that it's battery operated, but the downside is that it doesn't come with batteries. For the price, especially compared to other well-known brands, this seems to be a disadvantage. Another fairly minor issue is the power cord. It's decently long, but once you start extending the tripod past a certain point (about 6 feet), the adapter box lifts off the ground. In addition, the hanging weight can also help tilt or lower the light fixture if precautions are not taken. In this situation, it may help to attach the cable or power adapter to the tripod itself. The lighting scenes don't seem to set up without using the app. The app itself is pretty intuitive and easy to understand if you have a bit of technical experience. He immediately went to the Finding Light screen with no further prompts. Instead of "Search" in the top right if it doesn't find light right away, it says "Research". Minor spelling/translation error. There are many cool scenes pre-installed, including police lights, flashing lights, broken light bulbs, etc. You can also set and add your own, which is nice. It's easier to adjust the lighting settings in the app than messing around with the watch faces on the back, so I'd recommend using them. Overall, this is a good string of lights. It's not a fantasy or video/photo lighting innovation, and it's priced quite high for a few things that would have very little to fix or add. Simple rubber stoppers on the bottom of the tripod, maybe some cable management options (as simple as velcro) and a stronger tripod base would make it a great option and a real contender. Be that as it may, at this price point and with issues that can be easily fixed, that's unfortunately not all.
