This product works well but the charger itself gets very hot. The charger touched my hand for several minutes (I accidentally fell asleep) and burned my skin - not bad, but like a slight sunburn. This one may be defective, but it could be a problem if left unattended. Unfortunately I put it in my travel bag so I leave town with it and it's all I need to keep my laptop charged. Otherwise I would send it back and look for another one.
