Excellent product for hair and skin; The only problem is that the instructions for use are a bit vague. As a former professional stylist, I can tell you through trial and error that the instructions below work extremely well. For hair: After shampooing, conditioning and towel drying hair, apply an amount that easily covers two fingertips. Rub thoroughly in your hands to turn the shea butter into a fine butter. Work only with hair and ends; never the scalp. Comb and let your hair dry. No rinsing required; adjust the amount used less or more depending on the hair length. I have shoulder length hair. For the skin: clean face; cover with two fingertips and rub until oil appears. Massage into the skin in increasing amounts. A face, cleavage and any dry area. Leave it on before bed, using your favorite moisturizer over shea butter. If you have dry areas that need it, apply a little more product to those areas.
